Homepage

You can select content for your workplace or organization's Homepage on a per language basis, including hero carousel, featured content, messaging, and impact metrics.

The organization’s default language is selected as the Homepage content language by default. To create Homepage content for a different language, select the appropriate language.

Note: Content must exist in Content Management before it can be added to the Homepage.

Note: Based on your organization's preferences or your user role, some Philanthropy Cloud features may not be available.

Important: WAMs must make sure that they are in the right workplace context before performing any tasks. Content created in the context of a workplace is only available to that workplace. To add stories that can be accessed by any workplace, create them in the context of a WAMP.

Hero Carousel

You can highlight up to three content items of interest in the Hero Carousel section of your Homepage so that users can quickly and easily select an item to read more about it, donate to it, or volunteer for it.

Note: You must select at least one Hero Carousel item.

To add Hero Carousel content:

  1. Navigate to Admin and select Homepage.

  2. Navigate to the Hero Carousel section.

  3. Search for and select the appropriate content by typing the first few letters. You can preview the content you select.

  4. To add more content, select Add Another. You can select up to three content items to feature.

    You can drag and drop content to reorder it or remove items as required.

  5. Select Save.

Featured Content

You can feature up to four content items in the Featured Content section of your Homepage to highlight certain campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and stories. You can hide this section as required if you do not want to feature any content.

Note: Three featured content items typically look best on the Homepage.

To add Featured Content:

  1. Navigate to Admin and select Homepage.

  2. Navigate to the Featured Content section.

  3. Search for and select the appropriate content by typing the first few letters. You can preview the content you select.

  4. To add more content, select Add Another.

    1. You can select up to four content items to feature. Three items typically look best.

    2. You can drag and drop content to reorder it or remove items as required.

  5. If you do not want to display any featured content on your Homepage, select Hide this section on the homepage.

  6. Select Save.

Organization Messaging

You can display messaging or information from your organization, including up to four impact metrics, in the Organization Messaging section of your Homepage.

Note: This section of the Homepage is automatically hidden if it is empty, but you can also hide this section as required if you do not want to display any messaging.

To add Organization Messaging content:

  1. Navigate to Admin and select Homepage.

  2. Navigate to the Organization Messaging section.

  3. Enter the appropriate Messaging text as required (maximum 40 characters). You can style your text with headers, lists, and formatting.

  4. Enter the appropriate Giving Metrics label and text as required (maximum 20 characters).

  5. To add more Giving Metrics, select Add Another. You can add up to four impact metrics.

    1. You can remove items as required.

  6. If you do not want to display any messaging on your Homepage, select Hide this section on the homepage.

  7. Select Save.
